Participants 9. MSRS in Kamenický Šenov 2025 will be selected by a committee of experts on the basis of an application in the form of an open call. The aim is to enable all interested men and women – artists, designers, glass artists, masters of engraved glass and students of secondary schools, colleges and universities from all over the world to apply for this Triennial.
The portfolio submitted must include
- at least one work created using the technique of engraved glass, or this technique must predominate in the work
or
- A conceptual idea for a project involving the technique of engraved glass, including designs or visualisations that the artist wishes to realise at the Symposium.
If the above is not included in the application, it will be automatically rejected.
Acceptance of the programme and objectives of the symposium as set out by the organisers is a binding condition of participation:
- Present their work in the theoretical symposium that is part of the event;
- to create a work / project in which the predominant technique is engraving and related techniques (the grinding technique is only a complementary technique and must not dominate the work or create it in its entirety);
- if the above conditions are not met, the work will be excluded from the exhibition, the catalogue and subsequently from the collections of the Museum of Glass in Kamenický Šenov.
